What in-store services do you offer?
At The Reel Shot, we offer services for fishing, archery, and firearms. Whether you're looking to buy, sell or repair we have you covered! Call (920) 750-6140 for more info!
In addition, we also do line winding for your reels. Most line winding can be done the same day, but spooling multiple reels may take longer. It's never a bad idea to call ahead to ensure we have the stock of the bulk line you need and an estimate on how long it will take to re-spool multiple reels.
Do you offer live bait?

Do you offer a military or first responder discount?
We know that The Reel Shot would not be possible and our country would not be what it is if not for our service men and women and this is why TRS is so proud to be able to offer a badge discount both online and in-store! We provide active and past service members a military discount along with police offers, firefighters and EMTs, and Paramedics. All you have to do is reach out to us with your documentation and we will personally provide you with a discount code good for 10% off your next purchase of regular-priced items (excludes clearance items, ice shacks, sleds, electronics, scopes, bows, firearms, and ammunition). Do you buy used gear?
Whether you are looking to upgrade, get rid of some clutter, or just need some extra cash, The Reel Shot wants your used hunting and fishing gear! We buy just about everything when it comes to the outdoors from fishing lures and tackle boxes to used bows, firearms, and even miscellaneous odds and ends. We pretty much buy everything hunting and fishing related when it comes to used sporting goods, but every now and then we come across some things we are not accepting - The Reel Shot reserves the right to decline to buy any used merchandise.
Do you offer team discounts?
The Reel Shot is proud to support our local communities and schools involved in outdoor recreational programs. The Reel Shot will offer eligible school teams discount cards to be used for the students to purchase gear for their sport. Please fill out the form below and we will follow up with an email requesting additional information and a list of coaches and students so we can prepare your cards.
How can I purchase a gift certificate?

Before completing the checkout process there will be a box labeled "coupon/gift certificate". Please enter the discount code or gift certificate code there. Please note discount codes cannot be applied towards the purchase of gift cards, sales tax, or shipping costs.
Can you tell me more about your Price Match Guarantee policy?
Simply put, if you find a lower price, on any product we stock, we would like the opportunity to beat it. We owe our success to our customers, and we know that price is a critical concern for many shoppers. Knowing this, we constantly research our competition's prices and try to be as competitive as possible. If you find a product that is cheaper on another *Authorized Dealers website or ad, we will price match it as long as we can verify the current price or stock with that company. If we cannot verify the price or legitimacy of the advertisement, TRS reserves the right to deny any price match request. TRS also reserves the right to make the final decision on any price match request. Price match excludes out-of-stock items (no special orders) and third-party or membership sellers. Ex. Ebay, Craigslist, Amazon, Costco, and other third-party sellers or membership-based purchase program prices are excluded from our price match guarantee.
Circumstances where TRS Price Match may not apply:
- If the price match falls below TRS's cost
- If our competitors have limited quantities or are sold out
- Special sale holidays such as Black Friday and Cyber Monday
- Online price match may include the sale price of the product plus additional shipping charges our competitors charge

How do I place a return or exchange?
When can I expect my refund?
Refunds are typically recieved within 2-5 business days.
I'm missing a product from my order, what do I do?

What do I do if I receive a faulty item in my order?
- Consider it defective through TRS standards and immediately ship your replacement or refund your money.
- Contact the manufacturer to see if they cover the defective merchandise and contact you with the information we have received.
Why isn't my discount code working?
Discount codes are valid for online purchases only and only one per order. Online discounts may not be used with any other special promotions, sale or clearance priced items. Items that are excluded are clearance items, sale items, crossbows, bows, all electronics, optics, and ice augers. It is in The Reel Shot's right to cancel and refund in full any order that includes multiple discounts, sales, clearance prices or free shipping promotions combined with any discount or coupon code.

Can I redeem gift cards online?
Unfortunately our current system is not able to redeem gift cards you purchase in-store for online orders. However, we do sell gift certificates online that work for online purchases only. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
How long will it take to receive my order?
All orders received before 12 PM CST will be shipped SAME DAY via FedEx or USPS. Orders must be placed by 12 PM CST on Friday to be delivered Saturday or Sunday. Orders placed after Friday 1 PM CST will be processed the following Monday. The Reel Shot is not responsible for any transit time deadlines as it is out of our control.
What is a shipping surcharge or exclusion?
Certain oversized items such as rods, ice shacks, and oversized packages are subject to an additional shipping surcharge. The Reel Shot holds the right to apply additional shipping charges for all oversized orders.
What happens with a backordered item?
After your initial shipment of in stock items are sent, all remaining back ordered items will be shipped using the same method as your initial shipment. Travel time will depend on your location within the continental US.
What are your ammunition shipment restrictions?
The Reel Shot is happy to ship quality ammunition to the continental 48 states. However, there are some restrictions based on states we must adhere to. Below you will find a list of restrictions. All ammunition orders will be shipped via FedEx. The Reel Shot reserves the right to cancel any ammunition order and/or require further documentation before we ship any order containing ammunition.
Alaska: Due to shipping restrictions, The Reel Shot does not ship to the state of Alaska.
California: Due to local regulations, The Reel Shot does not ship ammunition to Los Angeles, Oakland, Sacramento, San Francisco or Avalon. We can however, ship to the rest of California, but it must be through a Federal Firearms Licensee (FFL). California residents cannot purchase incendiary or tracer rounds.
Connecticut: Due to local regulations, The Reel Shot can only ship ammunition to residents of Connecticut if they provide a valid ammunition certificate or a valid permit to carry a pistol / revolver or a valid long gun eligibility certificate.
Hawaii: Due to shipping restrictions, The Reel Shot does not ship to the state of Hawaii.
Illinois: Due to local regulations, The Reel Shot does not ship ammunition to the City of Chicago. We can however, ship ammunition to the rest of the state of Illinois, but you must provide a photo of your valid state FOID card & photo of your driver’s license or valid state ID card.
Massachusetts: Due to local regulations, The Reel Shot does not ship to Massachusetts.
New Jersey: The Reel Shot can ship ammunition to residents of New Jersey; however, some calibers require a valid copy of your firearms purchaser identification card or valid copy of your permit to purchase / carry a handgun. (example: .223, 5.56, 300 BLK, .308, 7.62x51 have no requirements).
New York: Due to local regulations, The Reel Shot does not ship ammunition to New York City or the surrounding boroughs. We can however, ship ammunition to the rest of the state of New York, but it must be through a Federal Firearms Licensee (FFL).
Washington DC: Due to local regulations, The Reel Shot does not ship to Washington D.C.

How much is shipping?
$7.00 shipping on orders with an actual or dimensional weight at below 1 lb. This offer is only valid in the contiguous U.S. All orders requiring more than one package will incur an additional shipping cost per package. Offer not retroactive on prior purchases.
