The secret behind the Apex Jacket is a unique PrimaLoft® Cross Core™ Insulation Series that fuses existing PrimaLoft insulation fibers with Aerogel, a NASA-developed technology known for being one of the best insulators on the planet. Comprised of more than 95% air, Aerogel is a highly porous, lightweight structure that has an incredible thermal barrier. By utilizing this technology, the Apex Jacket can achieve unprecedented levels of lightweight warmth at only 80g. Rest assured the Apex Jacket is loaded with the same Sureflote® Flotation Assist Technology as all our other suits.
