Black Reign Series

JT Custom Rods Black Reign Series has been engineered specifically for walleye anglers. Hero-High grade eyelets complete with silicon nitride inserts increase precision and casting distance. This series of rods feature proprietary Toray carbon fiber medium-powered blanks. For added sensitivity, each rod has a Model XSS reel seat coupled with a carbon fiber insert for added sensitivity. The Black Reign rods are available with black wraps and white accents. To allow anglers to place the reel where it’s most comfortable JT Outdoors is offering a Sure-Grip Tennessee handle. Black Reign rods come in lengths of 6’9” and 7’3” with medium power and extra-fast action. Perhaps the most unique feature is the Recoil guides which are made from a special nickel-titanium alloy. These guides don’t require any ceramic inserts. The guides are extremely hard but flexible that do not require plating, will not corrode, and returns to their original shape after repeated deformations.

JTX Series

The most popular of the lineups are the JTX series. The JTX Mag Light and Mag Medium Light have been designed specifically for anglers targeting finicky walleye. The JT proprietary blanks are made with Toray carbon fibers by utilizing “Zonal” technology. For added sensitivity, each rod has a Model XSS reel seat coupled with a carbon fiber insert for added sensitivity. This new design is engineered for increased energy transfer into the hand of the angler. JTX Mag rods come in lengths of 6’10”, 7’1”, and 7’3” with light and medium-light power. Each rod has a fast action. These rods are fitted with Recoil guides to ensure durability and long casts. Every rod is available in several colors: Silver Smoke/Fire Red, Black/Neon Pink, Neon Green, or Royal Blue.

Panhandler Series

The last series of rods that The Reel Shot carries is the Panhandler Series. Finally, panfish anglers can now have the same great quality as walleye anglers with these new freshwater long rods. This new design exceeds all pan fishing rod expectations with all-day comfort, excellent energy transfer, perfect balance, and precision. Using state-of-the-art “Zonal” technology, JT Outdoors has perfected another carbon fiber proprietary blank. This rod has been perfected to deliver perfect hook setting to drive the barb, but not rip the mouth of panfish. With such a soft tip transferring you can fish for finicky walleyes and they won’t even detect it. The Panhandler Series rods come in two lengths 6’6” and 7’0”. Each rod is equipped with ultra-light power and fast action. The JT custom long rod comes in three colors: the base color black with accents in Fire Red, Neon Orange, or Neon Green.
